    Natalija Minić

    Natalija Minić was born on September 8, 1982, in Kragujevac. She completed primary school "Bora Stanković" in Belgrade and the XII Belgrade Gymnasium. She graduated in 2011 from the Faculty of Science at the University of Novi Sad, Department of Geography, Tourism, and Hospitality, with a major in Tourism. Her thesis was titled "Characteristics of the Development of 'Dark' Tourism in Europe." She defended her Master's thesis titled "Tourism Potential of Đerdap National Park" at the Faculty of Geography in 2012. In 2024, she earned her PhD at the Faculty of Geography with an average grade of 9.67. The title of her doctoral dissertation is: "The Role of the Regional Tourist Organization in Creating an Integral Tourist Product of Western Serbia."

    She began her teaching career as an assistant professor at the Academy for Hospitality, Tourism, and Wellness in 2024. In 2023, she served as a reviewer for the journal Hotel and Tourism Management, published by the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism in Vrnjačka Banja. Her research focuses on developing selective forms of tourism, contemporary trends in tourism and hospitality, modern marketing and management in tourism enterprises and destinations, green economy, and sustainable development. She has participated in numerous international conferences. Notable references include the development of 'Dark' tourism in contemporary society and the development of birdwatching tourism – A case study in Western Serbia. She is a member of the Serbian Geographical Society.
