Prof. of Economy

    Marina Savković

    Marina Savković was born in Belgrade in 1982. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Belgrade in 2006, and in 2009 she obtained the title of Master of Economic Sciences and Master of Business Administration (MBA), at the joint program of Singidunum University and Lincoln University from California (Major: Human Resource Management). She received her doctorate in 2016 at Singidunum University in the field of employment policies and sustainable development. From 2007 to 2016, she worked as an assistant at Singidunum University, on the subjects: Economics, Managerial Economics and Contemporary Labor Market. Since 2016, he has been working as an assistant professor in the subjects: Economics, Contemporary Labor Market and Human Resource Management. From 2022, she was elected to the position of assistant professor at the Metropolitan University, in the field of Human Resource Management, where she was employed until July 2024. She was involved in the implementation of several European projects in the field of capacity development of higher education in Serbia. In the period from 2012 to 2018, she was the coordinator of the Center for Career Development of Singidunum University students. During that period, she took part in the implementation of numerous events and projects, where the Step to Work – Internship and Employment Fair (in 2016, 2017 and 2018) can be particularly highlighted. So far, she has published works and excerpts from meetings printed in their entirety. She was professionally engaged in a number of domestic and international projects. She cooperated with state institutions through working groups, professional networks and trainings. She participated in professional study visits: to the United States of America (as a scholarship holder of the American Congress), Belgium (as a scholarship holder of the European Commission) and Germany (as a scholarship holder of the Government of the Republic of Germany). Her areas of academic and professional interest are: education for the labor market, employee development in the digital era, youth employment, sustainable development and green jobs, and more. She is engaged in professional projects as a consultant and analyst in the area of: employment policy, economic inclusion, sustainable development and just transition.
