Education and Academic Titles
She obtained her Master’s degree in Economics in 2007 at EDUCONS University in Sremska Kamenica, defending her master's thesis titled "The Role and Importance of Institutional Investors in the Financial Market with a Focus on New EU Member States," thus earning the academic degree of Master of Economics in the narrower scientific field of finance. At the same university, in May 2010, she earned her PhD in Economics, defending her doctoral dissertation titled "Implementation of Investment Funds in the Financial Markets of Transition Countries" in the narrower scientific field of finance.
Professional Career and Academic Engagement
Since 2007, she has been involved in the teaching process as a research-scientific associate and as the head of the Department of Economics and Management. Throughout her professional career, she has held various roles and responsibilities, including executive positions, and possesses extensive consulting experience. She is a former Director and Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She also has rich experience in membership in international and domestic scientific bodies and organizations. She was a member of the Board of CBBiH, a member of the CBBiH Committee for EU Integration, and Chair of the CBBiH Investment Committee. She is a reviewer for international journals and proceedings categorized in the first and second categories by the Ministry of RS.
She participates in the International Project "Gender Equality in Academia and Research - 101129408—GEAR—ERASMUS EDU" since 2023 at the Independent University of Banja Luka.
Leadership and Academic Contributions
She was the head of study programs in Financial Management, Banking and Insurance, and Logistics, Shipping, and Insurance Management since 2010 at Banja Luka College Higher School. She has been the President of the Commission for the Nostrification of Foreign Diplomas for Further Education since 2013. As a member of the Commission for Quality Assurance at her home institution, she participated in the development and submission of the Accreditation Application for Higher Education Institutions RS HEAA in 2012 and in the creation of the Self-Assessment Report and the evaluation of the quality of study programs, teaching, and working conditions.
She has delivered numerous lectures at international scientific conferences, round tables, and presented many papers at conferences both domestically and internationally in the fields of business finance, accounting, and auditing. She has published several articles on current topics in the financial market, banking, and contemporary economic trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the surrounding region, which were published in professional and scientific journals. She has also published several scientific papers and textbooks. She has participated in national and international scientific projects and conferences. She is a mentor and a member of the committee for several master’s theses in the second and third cycles of education.
