Ceremonial Opening of the 2025/2026 Academic Year – Second Generation of Students at the Academy of Hospitality, Tourism and Wellness

 

On Monday, September 29, 2025, the ceremonial opening of the 2025/2026 academic year was held at the Academy of Hospitality, Tourism and Wellness, welcoming the second generation of students.

The opening was attended by professors, students, and leading representatives of the tourism, hospitality, and wellness sectors.

The Academy was presented through inspiring speeches by:

  Prof. Emeritus Slobodan Unković, who delivered a lecture on contemporary trends in tourism, emphasizing the importance of adapting to global changes.

  Prof. Emeritus Slobodan Čerović, who spoke about the significance of knowledge in the modern world and the need for continuous professional development.

  Prof. Dr. Danijel Pavlović, Director of the Academy, who presented the study program, opportunities for learning and practice, and the Academy’s vision in educating new generations of professionals.

  Aleksandar Seničić, Director of YUTA (the National Association of Travel Agencies of Serbia), who highlighted the need for qualified professionals in tourism and the importance of practical experience through study programs.

  Dejan Lučić, Director of Hotel Izvor (A Hotels), who spoke about the importance of student internships in the hotel sector.

  Isidora Nedeljković, a student of the Academy and President of the Student Parliament, shared her experiences and motivated new students to make the most of everything the Academy offers.
